We purchased what is now St. Tropez back in 1981. The previously existing store was already well-known, and our family saw a major opportunity to propel it to be the premiere Beach Store in Old Orchard Beach and to denote that change, renamed it St. Tropez. We had prior experience running retail businesses in the heart of New York City. We made the switch to Old Orchard Beach because at the time it was a rapidly growing and increasingly popular vacation destination.

Our products are carefully designed in the Off-Season to be modern, fashionable, well priced, and are sourced from the best suppliers in our industry.
Our business focus is you, the customer. We operate the business to be most convenient for our customers by opening the doors early and staying open late seven days a week. We are conveniently located to the beach, hotels, motels, restaurants, tourist attractions, and the heart of Old Orchard Beach, Maine.
